Band Bio = Donohoe & Grimes/Donnie, "Hoe" & Grimes is an Albuquerque based acoustic duo or trio (depending on your needs and budget) comprised of Jeff Donohoe on acoustic bass/vocals (and occasional Irish tin whistle), Mike Grimes on acoustic guitar/vocals (and occasional harmonica) and sometimes Donnie Frank on percussion/vocals (and occasional sound effects and comedic relief). From the Beatles, Jethro Tull and David Bowie to Elton John, Pink Floyd and Neil Young to Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains and Collective Soul; they play a wide variety of acoustic rock/pop/folk covers from the 60's to the present with style and sound all their own. Complete with their own state of the art sound system, they play regularly at many establishments in Albuquerque and surrounding areas including Dragonhorn Tavern, O'Niell's Irish Pub, Hard Rock Casino, Applebee's Grill & Bar, Molly's Bar (Tijeras), The Angel FIre Ski Resort and the Albuquerque International Sunport among others. In addition to being talented musicians, they pride themselves on being prompt and professional.
