Band Name = Gnarly Slur Genre = Industrial metal Band Bio =We are a local Albuquerque band that plays Metal infused with electronic/industrial elements. We have shared the stage with this city's best musicians, we currently have Animal dance (our first full length album) up for free download and streaming on youtube. Our second album Rough Offense has been stewing for quite and has been reworked with our newest band mate. .We also play some covers once in a while. This project was originally started as a way to teach Vicente how to play bass, he wanted to play something original and came to Nash to help write an album, it was perfect timing Nash had just separated from a previous band he played bass in.We had decide early on we didn't want a drummer cause of limited space, In the long run it works out cause with the skills nash has with programming we are much better off A demo was made and grew interest so we began to play live shows all over Albuquerque. "Animal dance" was taken into the recording studio and was distributed to our audience. We got booked for a pretty big show with a really heavy lineup so that's when we decided to call Francisco, His shredding metal riffs are just what we needed to elevate us as the featured band. We won the audience over. Since than we have moved our studio to a bigger and better workspace, reworked "Rough offense", gotten more art work and photography and even wrote a book! With new material, New gear and a heavier sound were ready to burn the house down. Band Members = Nash Ramirez on vocals and rhythm guitar, Vicente Chavez on bass guitar and backing vocals, Francisco Delgado on lead guitar and Gnarly 800 on drums and synthesizer. |
