Band Name = Hunter Genre = Hip-Hop Band Members = Hunter Band Bio = Hunter was born in 1987 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was given his performance name "Hunter" long before he started his music career, as he was an avid hunter of animal game for fun and food at a young age. He grew up listening to a wide array of music, from Country to Spanish, Rock to Hip-Hop. In or around 2002, he delivered his first public freestyle rap for a school project, while attending post primary school in Ireland. Soon after, he began recording music with a local indie producer named "Myzta Decay" of "Death Infected Productionz." He then began working with various local acts in New Mexico, including Sicktanick of Serial Killin' Records (SKR) and Rellik (formerly of SKR). In 2009, he formed his own promotion/music business called Dukes Up Entertainment, and has released two (2) mixtapes under the label: "That's That New Mextape" Vol 1 (2009) & Vol.2 (2010). |

In 2010, he began working with California based hip-hop label, Grim Reality Entertainment (owned by Insane Poetry frontman Cyco, and producer/artist JP Tha Hustler). He released a JP produced remix to "Stepp In The Left Direction" on GRE's 2010 compilation record, "Corporate Takeover." This collaboration led to talks of Hunter signing with GRE for a release of an album and EP through the label. On June 21st, 2011 Hunter released his First Solo Album entitled "Game: Necessary Roughness" featuring Production from Michael "Seven" Summers and Stir Crazy and appearances by Mistah FAB, Insane Poetry, David Wade and More |
