Bass, Guitar & Vocals. Band Bio: Radio Fig Jungle came together as a band in the winter of 2007 when cousins Billy Espinosa And Roman Wagner decided to try and get a great jam going for the weekend. The two had no idea that either of the other even played an instrument until their aunt had mentioned it to them. Drummer Bret Cousins and Bassist Billy Espinosa had been jamming together for several years prior to RFJ as well as Guitarists Nick Stern and Roman Wagner. By the end of the month they had already had a solid sound going for them with a hand full of original music at their disposal. In the following summer they played their first paying gig in a tiny bar in downtown Albuquerque called Burt’s Tiki Lounge. Now after dozens of shows at various venues around New Mexico and two years they are currently working on their first independently released album which is expected to be released late this year. |
