Members: Band Bio - Scorpio 67 is Johnny Stevenson, a melodic one-man genre-hopping pop band!!! Born and raised In England, Johnny saw a Beatles movies at the age of 6, and decided right there and then music was the way to go............. He hasn't looked back since that day, where he began to write and sing his own songs on old portable tape recorders!!! The first band experience was playing the bass in a school reggae band, which forever broadened his expanding teenage palate of musical styles. Many bands came and went after leaving school, some more successful than others!!!!. After his last band in England failed to get the record deal they were promised, a disillusioned Johnny moved to the United States. After some minor successes as lead vocalist in the Milwaukee band Rhinocerotic, (who even scored an appearance on the Jenny Jones show) Johnny embarked on a solo project, named SCORPIO 67. This was closely followed by a move to beautiful new surroundings in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he wrote and recorded his first songs as Scorpio67. After which he found the pull of Milwaukee calling him back, where he continues to write and record music there are no boundaries, the future is wide open.................. |
