Band Name = Vinyl Tap Genre = Classic Rock, Rock, Cover band Band Bio =Vinyl Tap is a classic rock cover band based out of Rio Rancho, NM. Founded in 2011, Vinyl Tap is a power trio consisting of Dave Becker, Bill Kornke and Kristian Thompson. The band performs cover tunes from some of the biggest acts from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s although they are not strictly limited to those eras. Vinyl Tap has made appearances on KIOT 102.5 FM with Erica Viking and has performed at a plethora of venues throughout New Mexico and Colorado. Vinyl Tap has played numerous venues including but not limited to Buffalo Thunder, Inn of the Mountain Gods, Camel Rock and Sky City Casinos, Rio Rancho Oktoberfest, Albuquerque Wine Festival, Derailed Pourhouse (Durango, CO,) Casa Los Cordovas (Taos), and numerous venues throughout the ABQ area. Vinyl Tap has its own complete sound and light system and can accommodate any size venue both public and private.
